It is a dedicated online space where family and friends can find funeral information, share messages and memories, add photographs, light virtual candles and remember someone together.

The page can begin as a practical funeral notice and continue as a lasting tribute after the funeral has taken place.

We will create the initial page using the information agreed with the family.

A nominated family member can then become the Tribute Owner. They can personalise the page, manage contributions and control its privacy and sharing settings.

No. The family can control who can view the page, what information is shown and whether contributions need to be approved before appearing.

We will only publish funeral information with the family’s agreement.

There is no charge to create or retain a standard MuchLoved tribute page.

If the page is used to collect donations, MuchLoved deducts transaction and payment-processing fees before transferring the funds. These cover services including secure payment processing, reporting and eligible Gift Aid claims.

Yes. The family can nominate one or more charities or good causes that were important to the person who has died.

Friends and relatives can donate securely through the tribute page. MuchLoved manages the payments, processes eligible Gift Aid and transfers the funds directly to the chosen organisations.

Yes. The Tribute Owner can update the page, add photographs and memories, change its appearance and manage contributions.

Funeral details can be archived after the service while the memorial content remains available.

The tribute can remain online for as long as the family wishes, subject to MuchLoved’s terms of use. The family remains in control of the page and can deactivate it if they no longer want it to remain available.

Yes. Each page has its own web address and QR code. These can be shared by email, messaging services or social media, and the QR code can also be added to the printed order of service.

The family decides how widely the page should be shared.

Yes. If you would also like to place a paid death or funeral notice in a local or national newspaper, please discuss this with us.

Newspaper notices are separate from the MuchLoved tribute service. Publication dates, word limits and charges are determined by the newspaper, but we can help you consider the wording and information to include.

A family-placed death or funeral notice is not necessarily the same as an editorial obituary. Newspapers decide which editorial obituaries they publish.
